Come ALONG to our ClUB Open DaY

Saturday 10 October 2026 @ 12noon

Come down and have a go - all welcome!


Our club open day is scheduled for the last Saturday of the school holidays. It will kick off with a pot luck BBQ at noon. This will be a great chance to meet and catch up with each other, before hitting the water to suit the tides at 1.30pm for a fun afternoon sailing. 


Bring sailing gear, life jacket, wetsuit, jacket, hat, thermals and footwear suitable for wet conditions.

The first Thursday club sailing session for the new season will be 15 October 2026 and then every Thursday thereafter (weather permitting) until 17 December 2026.  Sessions start at 6pm at BYC.

Open Dinghy Regatta - Bluff leg

Held annually each November at Bluff.  This year's event will be 28 November 2026.


The second leg of this regatta series will be hosted by Marakura Yacht Club in Te Anau on the last weekend of January.
